Claude Debussy was commissioned by the Metropolitan Opera to compose operas based on stories of Edgar Allan Poe. Though never orchestrated, the
composer's piano sketches remain a little-known treasure. On the bi-centennial of Poe's birth, OFNY, in collaboration with FIAF, presents Debussy & Poe: The Devil in the Belfry & The Fall of the House of Usher, an original multidisciplinary opera, conceived by Jean-Philippe Clarac and Olivier Deloeuil.
